Day 2

Following the previous day's excitment we set out once again and found ourselves getting onto the Conwy.

First we paddled the Upper stretch at a nice medium level, then after a quick hot drink to warm ourselves up we carried on down to the Conwy Falls get out.

Luckily us being mint boaters we managed to spot all three warning signs and the salmon pink rock to prevent ourselves being the next muppets requiring the mountain rescue egress.......

A couple of pictures;
Lou nailing the line below the 2nd grade 5.

Chucks trying to correct his line - muppet.

Me doing the impossible and making my 255 disappear!

More pics to be found here.

Following this we packed up and headed for home. 5 hours later we made it, through epic weather, closed roads and a snow-bound Peak District. Xena and I had fun in the snow, I don't think Sarah did though!
